TRITON ALL-TERRAIN INC. introduces the Predator, a revolutionary 8-wheel all-terrain vehicle with an innovative hydrostatic, all-wheel drive system. This ground breaking design provides superior power, responsiveness, ruggedness, and maneuverability never before offered in such a compact craft. The combination of high power, durability, and versatility means that for the first time, there is now a practical solution for the industrial and heavy-duty recreational user alike.

Take a look at a few of the vehicle's unique features:
HYDROSTATIC DRIVE SYSTEM - Conventional Amphibious ATVs are based on custom built, mechanical skid-steer transmission systems. To turn, the wheels on one side of the unit are braked while the other side is left to do all of the work. The Predator can power both sides of the unit independently...even in opposite directions! To the user, this means that you've got all of the vehicle's muscle working to get you out of the toughest spots. With the hydrostatic system, the operator is always assured of a controlled transfer of power with infinitely variable speed and torque in either direction. This results in a much smoother ride, and increased maneuverability and responsiveness.
DRIVE SYSTEM COMPONENTS - Predator's unique transmission utilizes off-the-shelf parts. Conventional ATVs are based on custom-made components with a 1 year warranty often resulting in more time and dollars for repairs. Triton All-Terrain Inc. engineers have selected the best, readily available hydraulic components with a 3 year manufacturers' warranty. The power plant is either Kubota's 1.5L naturally aspirated (37.5 hp) or 1.5L turbo charged (46.5 hp) diesel engine, or Kohler's top-of-the-line 25 hp V-Twin engine, all backed by a 2 year warranty. The Predator's radiator and cooling systems for the hydraulics ensure consistent and reliable temperature stability.

SUPERIOR BALANCE - Conventional ATVs offer front and rear mounted engines resulting in unequal loading and balance during operation -- especially in water or steep terrain. The Predator's mid-mount engine design eliminates the handling problems caused by uneven weight distribution. This means a more solid responsive ride on the steepest of terrain or in the water, which may eliminate dangerous shuffling of passengers and loads in tight spots.
SAFETY & DURABILITY - The PREDATOR's body is built around a light weight, steel frame which surrounds and protects the occupants. The twin-frame construction provides a rigid support for the body and allows for convenient attachment of accessories.
